Island Life

Hello bloggers! This editorial has been saved on my desktop forever, so I thought I'd finally share it with you guys. Right now it's freezing in New York, which makes me upset because 1) it's spring and 2) this time last year was so nice! Also, my school is weird and my spring break isn't for another 2 and half weeks, so I've really been lusting over warm weather and exotic vacations. That's why this editorial really stuck out to me - the bright colors and island settings make me want the warmth even more. And it was shot in Puerto Rico, where I was born, which makes me love it even more of course! Also, the model is Camille Rowe and the spread is called "Camille Aux Caraibes" and since Camille is my name, I can just close my eyes and imagine it's actually me in those shots with amazing clothes, hahaha. So, for those of you who are somewhere warm, just enjoy, and for all of you that are somewhere cold like me - here's a little something to keep your hopes up for the spring and summer!

Poésy In

While looking through Fashion Gone Rogue, I saw this great editorial from Marie Claire featuring actress Clémence Poésy. Now, I know her best as Fleur Delacouer from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and when I saw her on Gossip Girl this past season I don't think I could get over that fact that she was Fleur! But she keeps popping up everywhere, and she looks absolutely gorgeous in this editorial. I really love the flirty and subtly sexy looks that they styled her in. I love how feminine and sultry she looks and I could definitely see myself wearing a lot of these outfits. I especially love the striped Marc Jacobs cardigan paired with the Theory miniskirt and Fendi platforms!

Heavy Looks

Because I'm starting to love winter more and more and I can't stop wearing lots of layers with big sweaters, my (fake) fur vest and even bigger scarves. This editorial has all of my favorite things right now. Enjoy!

Winter's Here

Good news bloggers! Finals and school are over, it's winter break, and Santa brought me a brand new camera so I will be back to posting regularly! This semester was super busy between classes, interning and trying to have a life that I was only able to post once or twice a month and I missed the blogging world so much, but now it's back to inspiration, editorials and outfit posts for all you lovely readers.

Right now, I wanted to share this great editorial from the winter edition of Muse Magazine. To be honest, I'm not usually into editorials like this, but something about this one caught my eye. It just so perfectly chilly and alluring. Magdalena Frackowiack looks like she could be a winter fairy princess, but with a dark edge. The images are crisp and tough but still pretty and I just love it!

Star Signs

Maybe I'm just procrastinating, but I saw one of these images on my friend's tumblr, found the complete editorial on Fashion Gone Rogue, and knew I had to post it immediately! The spread, "Star Signs" is featured in this month's British Vogue and each image is simply breathtaking and beautiful. Every image is like a beautiful work of art with whimsical sets and creative fashions. It's so different from the typical editorial and I really love it. Photographer Tim Gutt and set designer Shona Heath really did a wonderful job with this.

Much Ado About Emma

Confession time Bloggers: I'm a Harry Potter nerd. No seriously, you don't even know! With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 premiering this weekend, I thought it was only fitting to blog about Emma Watson on the cover of Marie Claire this December. I have the biggest girl crush on her, and I LOVE her hair even if it has gotten mixed reviews. I also love all the clothing in this editorial and think the styling is just perfect!

Spellbound

Hello bloggers! I haven't been able to make it to the library to use Photoshop to collage my favorites from Paris Fashion week, so I've been neglecting posting! But I stumbled across an editorial I just had to post, and felt I should do it before posting favorites since they aren't even ready yet!

I'm subscribed to W magazine, so it wasn't by choice when I decided to flip through the naked-Kim-Kardashian-cover, it was more because it was here and I was bored. The issue wasn't the best, but there was one editorial I really loved. "Spellbound" was photographed by Alex Prager - after reading this I looked her up and you should really look at her photography, it's amazing! It features models Irina Lazareanu, Jessica Joffe, Liza Thorn and Binki Shapiro (I have a girl crush on her!) and has a surreal and as the magazine even puts it, Hitchcock feel to it. Now, Halloween is my favorite and October is my favorite month of this year, so I was really intrigued by this Hitchcock-esque spread. My scanner wasn't working and I could barely find pictures online anywhere so here are just a few images from the spread! Enjoy...
