Spellbound

Hello bloggers! I haven't been able to make it to the library to use Photoshop to collage my favorites from Paris Fashion week, so I've been neglecting posting! But I stumbled across an editorial I just had to post, and felt I should do it before posting favorites since they aren't even ready yet!

I'm subscribed to W magazine, so it wasn't by choice when I decided to flip through the naked-Kim-Kardashian-cover, it was more because it was here and I was bored. The issue wasn't the best, but there was one editorial I really loved. "Spellbound" was photographed by Alex Prager - after reading this I looked her up and you should really look at her photography, it's amazing! It features models Irina Lazareanu, Jessica Joffe, Liza Thorn and Binki Shapiro (I have a girl crush on her!) and has a surreal and as the magazine even puts it, Hitchcock feel to it. Now, Halloween is my favorite and October is my favorite month of this year, so I was really intrigued by this Hitchcock-esque spread. My scanner wasn't working and I could barely find pictures online anywhere so here are just a few images from the spread! Enjoy...

MFW Favorites SS2011

Hello bloggers! So I've totally had this post written out and all that was left was to put in the pictures for about a week now and I totally goofed and forgot, thinking I'd already done it! So here are my favorites from Milan, with favorites from Paris soon to follow and then back to real posts and what not - and while that's exciting I am sad all the shows will be over and done with - what am I going to do on the internet now??

Anyway, you know the drill!

Dolce & Gabbana - basically, what I learned from Dolce & Gabbana is that I'm going to wear all white lace all the time, and that it's going to look absolutely incredible!

Iceberg - the designers for Iceberg were inspired by the 70s and the likes of Lauren Hutton, Faye Dunaway and Farah Fawcett, and it came out beautifully! I'm loving all the 70s looks for spring, and this collection is definitely at the top of the list!

MaxMara - I'm not usually big on minimalism, but I really love how this collection came out. The sleek silhouettes with pops of color and the stripes and polka dots all worked so well together!

No.21 - Again, another collection that reinforces to wear all white all the time this spring! But this time along with white, I'm going to wear some wonderful khaki's, textured fabrics and really pretty floral prints!

Back with Paris favorites soon!
