Dear Blog,

We need to talk.

I'm sorry I've been ignoring you for months - I didn't mean to, it just kind of happened. But anyway, this time apart has given me some new insight and well, I think it's over between us. I've wanted to end it for some time now, but I'm bad with closure and I just didn't want to do that you. But now, it's time.

It's not you, it's me. I've just moved on with my life. You've been so good to me during our time together, but I just wasn't enjoying it anymore. You just weren't the right fit.

I'm sorry it took so long for this closure, you deserved better than that. But c'est la vie. Anyway, I should tell you that there's someone else too. His name is Tumblr, I'll be there from now on.

Sorry that it didn't work out.
I'll never forget you.

With love,
Camille

Inspiration: Coachella

Music festivals always bring out the best outfits, and Coachella was no different this year! I'm feeling inspired by the festival look as the weather gets warmer, and I wanted to put together some of my favorite looks for you guys. Also, although it's no Coachella, my boyfriend's school's spring weekend is this weekend, so this mood will definitely translate into my outfits (even though it definitely won't be as hot as California). I'll try and snag some pictures for you guys!

Wool and the Gang

Wool and the Gang shared some pictures from their new Spring/Summer collection last week and I'm absolutely in love with them! I was obsessed with winter knits this past season, so I really think this is the perfect way to transition into spring. The styling here is so easy and free and exactly what I'm into right now. I also really love the color combination of red, white, blue and gray. These were photographed by Martin Bruno over on the riverside of Greenpoint in Brooklyn, and feature Annabelle Dexter-Jones (I love her!) and Charlie Klarsfeld. Their S/S Collection is up online now and some items are actually not impossibly expensive! Refinery 29 is actually offering at 20% online discount right now if you enter 'refinery29' at checkout. Also, if you're in the area, definitely go visit their store over at 98 Thompson Street in Soho - it's super cute, they sell yarn balls, and you can even get the kits to knit the items yourself!

Army Green and Rose

So as I mentioned in my last post, it's not quite spring here! Because of this, picking outfits is all about the layering. I wore this outfit last week to go to the MoMA and I have to admit that I did wear yet another coat over it because it was still too cold even for my army jacket! But anyway, I've been obsessing over the combination of rose/peach hues and greens, so when I found this scarf tucked away in the back of my closet I thought it was perfect! I paired it with a rose colored crop top, a black skirt and my favorite army jacket that I found last year at one of my favorite thrift stores here in New York, Reminiscence.

Island Life

Hello bloggers! This editorial has been saved on my desktop forever, so I thought I'd finally share it with you guys. Right now it's freezing in New York, which makes me upset because 1) it's spring and 2) this time last year was so nice! Also, my school is weird and my spring break isn't for another 2 and half weeks, so I've really been lusting over warm weather and exotic vacations. That's why this editorial really stuck out to me - the bright colors and island settings make me want the warmth even more. And it was shot in Puerto Rico, where I was born, which makes me love it even more of course! Also, the model is Camille Rowe and the spread is called "Camille Aux Caraibes" and since Camille is my name, I can just close my eyes and imagine it's actually me in those shots with amazing clothes, hahaha. So, for those of you who are somewhere warm, just enjoy, and for all of you that are somewhere cold like me - here's a little something to keep your hopes up for the spring and summer!

A Look at Paris F/W '11

Since it took me so long to do this post (I just don't know where the time went!), I thought I'd do something different than the usual recap of my favorites. By now you've probably all seen all the runway pictures from Paris, so I thought instead I'd share some of my favorite pictures from behind the scenes and close-up details. Basically not your typical style.com photos! Hope you enjoy!
